LGL Version 2.7
The current version of LGL is 2.7 and is based on LFS 12.3. It comes in two different flavours, minimal and desktop.
It is based on Linux From Scratch 12.3, with most packages apart from basic stuff having been updated to more recent versions.
As kernel, the LTS series 6.1.nnn is used.
LGL can be described as a “rolling” distribution, meaning that most packages are updated to their newest version quite often. However, some core packages, such as glibc, binutils, xorg and others are usually only upgraded with a new LGL release.
